PART Engineering is a technology-driven company known worldwide for efficient and solution-oriented software products such as Converse, S-Life-FKM and S-Life-Plastics. Converse is a software for the simulation of technical plastic products, the S-Life software modules are used for the strength assessment of plastic and metal components.
The company was founded as a technical consulting firm in 1999. The specialization in structural analysis in the context of finite element simulation took place early in the company's history. Today PART Engineering, apart from providing FEM simulation services, develops and sells CAE software worldwide. PART Engineering is technology partner of well-known CAE software companies. The company headquarter is located in Germany. PART Engineering has more than 400 corporate customers worldwide in broad industry segments that use its software products and rely on its FEM services.
Research and Development
As part of the ongoing development of our software and services portfolio, we are conducting self-financed and publicly funded R&D projects. In this way, we ensure that new findings are incorporated into our range of services and promptly generate added value for our customers.
Our R&D activities are recognized and awarded by the Stifterverband under the patronage of the Federal President.

LightMat Battery Housing
The target of the joint project "LightMat Battery Housing" is the development of functionalised, unidirectional fibre-reinforced semi-finished products for the large-scale production of high performance plastic battery housings for electric vehicles. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund ERDF 2014-2020.
Fast Simulation of SFR Plastics
Development of a software for the orientation-dependent calibration of an anisotropic elastoplastic standard material model for the FEM simulation of short fiber-reinforced injection molded plastic components. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
Strength Assessment of SFR Plastics
Development of a method for the strength assessment of short-fiber-reinforced plastic components. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
Simbabear (SIMulation-BAsed BEARing)
Development of a software for FEM simulation of highly pre-loaded rubber chassis bearings. The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Partners and Associations
As a technology-driven company we have various academic cooperation partners and are member of associations in the field of engineering and simulation. This enables us to be always up-to date when it comes to new developments in order to improve our software and service offers frequently.
